You have the right to request deletion of your My Cooking Companion account and all associated personal data. Once processed, this action is permanent and cannot be undone.
What gets deleted
- Your account and login credentials
- All saved recipes, meal plans, and shopping lists
- Your subscription history and AI session records
- Any recipe images you uploaded
- Your display name and profile information
What is retained
- Anonymised, aggregated analytics (not linked to you)
- Transaction records required for legal and tax compliance (retained for 5 years)
- Recipes you have shared with other users that they have already accepted into their account

Once your account is deleted, you will lose all your recipes, meal plans, and subscription benefits. If you have an active paid subscription, please cancel it first to avoid further charges.
